Conceptually, Dre Empire resides on the corner of Los Angeles and Honolulu. What started as a simple t-shirt design turned into a thriving screen printing business, and recently opened its newest flagship - HNLAX By Dre Empire. On December 12, 2012, then 20-year old Dominic R. Escamilla “DRE” was a bartending college student with one solid vision - to open his own business.
“I always dressed different from my peers growing up in Hawaii and all over the U.S,” I wanted to create a space for folks like me.
Today, Dre Empire has two locations - its official Screen Printing Head Quarters in Wahiawa, and its second location Barber Shop, Salon, & Streetwear boutique in the largest Indoor, Super-Regional Shopping Center in Hawaii - Pearlridge Shopping Center (Uptown). All of Dre Empire’s products are designed and printed in-house via screen printing, and features other Hawaii/California-based brands.
